A Modern-Day Schubertiad

The name ‘Schubertiad’ was given to the concerts in Vienna that Schubert himself would arrange for his friends and associates as they listened to his latest compositions and often those of other composers with Viennese wine and sweetmeats.  The Lion Ballroom is the sort of venue that he would have loved to use.
